In the past, many celebs have opened about sexual harassment and casting couch experiences in the entertainment industry. Now, Bhojpuri superstar, television, and Bollywood actor, Ravi Kishan spoke up about his struggling days wherein he also revealed about casting couch experiences he has encountered. The actor revealed that he ‘somehow’ escaped the moment and also asserted that he never wanted to resort to shortcuts because he had complete faith in his talent. Ravi Kishan recalled the time when he was invited for ‘coffee’ by a female. Not naming the person, the actor was quoted saying in the show Aap Ki Adalat, “I can’t name her, because she has become a big shot now. She had said, ‘Coffee peene raat me aayie (Come over for a cup of coffee tonight)’. I thought that is something people prefer to have during the day, so I got the hint and refused.” He further mentioned that this is a common factor in the industry but he assured that it was his father’s teachings about hard work and sincerity that helped him to not fall prey to such ‘shortcuts’. He added, “Yeah, it happened and this is something that happens in the industry. But I somehow managed to escape. My father had taught me that I should approach my work with honesty, I never wanted to take a shortcut. I knew I was talented.” Making his debut with the Hindi film Pitambar in 1992, Ravi Kishan has made his name in the Bollywood industry with films like Army, Tere Naam, Luck, Marjaavaan, among others. The actor is a popular star in the Bhojpuri industry and has also marked his presence in Telugu Cinema with films like Kick 2 and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
