A video of actress Kiara Advani is going viral as in the clip, she gets emotional while watching the funeral scene of Vikram Batra from her recent release, Shershaah. In the film, she played the role of Dimple Cheema. The movie, Shershaah starred Siddharth Malhotra in the lead role.
She is seen wearing a yellow kurti, as she stun with her outfit, while watching the movie on her mobile on a flight with her face covered with mask.
Before starting the shoot of Shershaah, Kiara met real life Dimple Cheema. In an interview with a print publication Kiara said that meeting Dimple Cheema was the most important emotional aspect of making this film. They were yet to start the shooting when she and the team of Shershaah met Dimple and calling it the best part of the prep. She further mentioned theat by having a look into her mind and heart; the meeting helped her a lot in emoting Dimple on screen. Vishal Batra, Captain Vikram Batra’s twin brother helped the team in setting up the meeting. She also wanted to understand her closely and emulate her as close to reality as she could. Since, Punjabi dialogues were incorporated because she is from Punjab. Kiara added that it was an overwhelming and emotional experience for her to play Dimple.

Shershaah was released on OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video on August 13 and has been receiving a lot of love from audience and reviews from critics upon its release.
