Almost a year after wrapping up Bellbottom, Akshay Kumar's Bellbottom starring alongside Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi, has seen a theatrical release. Meanwhile, he and director Ranjit M Tewari are reuniting for another project, the Hindi remake of Rakshasudu. Tentatively titled Cinderella, the film has gone on the floor in the UK.
Akshay Kumar, producers Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, and filmmaker Ranjit M Tewari, are collaborating once again after Bellbottom. On Friday, the official Twitter handle of Pooja Entertainment dropped the photos from the mahurat shot. The tweet read, “With your blessings and good wishes we start our new project #ProductionNo41 #PoojaEntertainment @akshaykumar @vashubhagnani @ranjit_tiwari @jackkybhagnani @honeybhagnani.”

Rakshasudu, starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas, is a story about Arun, a newly appointed police sub-inspector, who goes after a notorious serial killer who targets teenage girls. However, his mission soon comes at a terrible price.
