It is known that many Korean popstars often explore opportunities in the field of acting and if a good opportunity comes their way, nothing like it. Popular K-pop group NCT member Doyoung, from SM Entertainment, is gearing up to make his acting debut as the male lead of an upcoming new fantasy drama, Sanbok Sanbok Stalker. The information was reported by SPOTV News.
According to a source from SM Entertainment, as reported by Soompi, “Doyoung will be taking on his first acting role as Son Ji Woo in the time and space transcending fantasy drama ‘Midnight Café’ (literal title) season three Sanbok Sanbok Stalker, which will portray the growth and therapeutic story of an 18-year-old high school student who can see the future.”
Doyoung becomes the third member from NCT to take the route of acting after Jaemin and Jaehyun. Midnight Cafe premiered earlier this year in February. The makers will work on season 2 and season 3 simultaneously. Sanbok Sanbok Stalker will be the third season of the series and expected the premiere in the first half of the year.
