After Amitabh Bachchan's KBC, Indian Idol 12 auditions to go digital

Indian Idol is all set to come back with its season 12. The first promo of the upcoming reality singing show is out. However, this time, the auditions will be held virtually. Just like Amitabh Bachchan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati virtually, Indian Idol 12 will also follow the same owing to the pandemic.

The season will be hosted by Aditya Narayan who is seen singing and dancing and addressing the show's fans. In the video, Aditya sings and informs aspiring participants that they need not go through the hassle of standing in long lines to make it to the audition of the show. The audition can be recorded and sent from home and the results will also be announced to them through digital platforms.

While the season 11 of the show saw Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, and Himesh Reshammiya on the judges' panel, it will be interesting to see who takes on as the judges for the upcoming season.
