"Do these people have their brains in place?"- Sonu Sood slams people who danced on the road on the Janta Curfew day

With the Covid-19 crisis only aggravating, authorities have been repeatedly emphasizing on the importance of social distancing. The Prime Minister's call to show respect to essential service providers on Sunday evening was turned into a mockery by some people who decided to get down to the streets to burst crackers, do Dandiya and what not?

"Do these people have their brains in place?"- Sonu Sood slams people who danced on the road on the Janta Curfew day

This contradicts the whole idea of social distancing as well the purpose of a Janta Curfew. Like many of us, actor Sonu Sood is also irked. He shared a video of a group of women dancing with utensils, and put up a sarcastic note. "Corona left India... they have a reason to celebrate. After seeing this even the virus will think “what if I get affected by their intelligence levels?” Better to leave this country. I mean... do these people have their brains in place," his post read.

The video was originally posted by actor Anuup Soni. "A group of patriotic and responsible citizens of our country demonstrating the best example of social distancing," Anuup had sarcastically written.

Sonu was last seen in Ranveer Singh's 2018 film Simmba and is next a part of Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj.
