At 60, Neena Gupta is quite a performer who is constantly pushing her boundaries. You might remember how, a few years back, she decided to ask for 'work' on Twitter. Not a lot of known artistes would do that, but isn't Neena always a rule-breaker? Even in her personal space, she has been a brave single mother, raising a daughter just as strong and level-headed.
Neena had daughter Masaba with cricketer Vivian Richards, who she was once in love with. While they did not end up together, Masaba shares an extremely affectionate bond with her father. But, the veteran actor says she wouldn't have a child outside marriage if she could go back in time. She opened up to a publication, saying that a child needed both her parents, and while she was always truthful to Masaba, she still suffered as a child growing up without her father.
Neena found her soulmate many years later, as she tied the knot with businessman Vivek Mehra, in 2008. As a person who has seen all sides of life, she was respectful towards Masaba's decision to split with husband Madhu Mantena. She revealed she didn't insist Masaba to stay in her marriage, and just advised her to think about what she was doing.
Neena will be next seen in Kangana Ranaut's Panga, Ranveer Singh's 83 and also Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh's yet untitled project.
