Now things are relatively normal, so this is the first normal Diwali in three years. So be happy and enjoy. For us Diwali is family time. Puja at home with my twin sons and the two Laxmi Devis in my life, my daughter and my wife.”
Asha Parekh: "Diwali used to be a time for get-togethers and festivity. Now especially after Covid, it’s all gone. For me it is very quiet Diwali this year with maybe just a dinner with close friends. Let's be kind towards pets and no burst crackers."
Pooja Bhatt: “I have cats and dogs at home that shiver and cower and hide under the bed as the firecrackers start during Diwali. It is heart-breaking to see them that way. I feel helpless. I can’t do anything to ease their agony except wait for the noise to end.”
