Hrithik Roshan fan turns entire filmography into studio Ghibli-inspired art

Hrithik Roshan’s presence on screen has always been larger than life - equal parts charisma, craft, and constant reinvention. But a fan on X (formerly Twitter) has reinterpreted that magic in a way no one saw coming. Inspired by the ongoing “Ghibli-fication” trend, the fan artist has turned every film that featured Hrithik Roshan into a Studio Ghibli-style anime poster—offering a visual tribute as heartfelt as it is breathtaking.

The illustrations don’t just offer a visual treat - they chart the many avatars Hrithik Roshan has embodied through his cinematic journey. From the fresh-faced Rohit of Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai to the enigmatic Kabir of War, each artwork pays homage to the actor’s dedication to transformation. Known for reinventing his look and body language with every role, Hrithik has never repeated a persona. The anime-style reinterpretations highlight this evolution in fine detail: the innocence of Rohit, the intense depth of Rohan in Fiza, the sharp-edged charisma of Aryan in Dhoom 2, the quiet strength of Karan Shergill in Lakshya, and the royal aura of Emperor Akbar in Jodhaa Akbar. Even the gentleness of Super 30’s Anand Kumar and the rawness of Kaabil’s Rohan Bhatnagar is distinctly captured through the pastel, magical lens of Ghibli-style art.

Hrithik Roshan, widely celebrated as one of India’s most versatile and stylish actors, has always balanced superstardom with substance. Whether it was pioneering India’s first superhero franchise with Krrish, delivering powerhouse performances in Agneepath and Guzaarish, or embracing soul-searching narratives like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, his filmography is a testament to evolution. These fan-made illustrations, spanning over two decades and covering films like Mission Kashmir, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kites, Bang Bang, Vikram Vedha, and Fighter, aren’t just nostalgic—they’re reflective of a journey that’s as visual as it is emotional.

While the actor has yet to publicly acknowledge the tribute, fans online have already embraced it as a love letter to one of Bollywood’s most chameleon-like stars. In these Ghibli-fied frames, Hrithik’s legacy feels timeless - as if his stories could live forever, somewhere between dream and memory.

Imran Khan shares how living with girlfriend Lekha Washington changed his lifestyle; says, “Lekha and I had to share one plate and fork”

Actor Imran Khan follows a Japanese minimalist lifestyle, but things have shifted since his girlfriend Lekha Washington became a part of his life. In a recent interview, Imran shared how his life has evolved since the two began living together.

Imran and Lekha are said to have begun dating during the Covid lockdown and moved in together just a year ago. Since then, it's been a journey of striking a balance—Imran often complains about having too many possessions, while Lekha enjoys bringing home anything that catches her eye.

So how did Imran shift from his minimalist lifestyle to living with someone who loves collecting things? According to him, it happened gradually. In an interview with Bombay Times, the actor shared a moment that highlighted his minimalist ways—he once didn’t even have enough cutlery to entertain guests.

He said, “Around two years ago we had friends, a couple came home for dinner. So there were four of us and I only had three plates and three forks. I didn't usually have company and that's how I have been living so it was unusual to have four people at home. We found ourselves in a situation where Lekha and I had to share one plate and fork. After that Lekha told me we need more stuff and now we have enough to entertain guests.”

Imran explained that he had always preferred owning fewer things, believing it helped him stay organized and save time.

He stated, “I wanted to reduce the stuff that I am dependent on by limiting it to only what I can manage by myself. If there are only three plates and two cups the pile of dirty dishes can't go higher than that thus reducing the mess, that can be cleared in ten minutes. That was the process. Prior to Lekha and I living together I didn't have any staff, and I still don't. If someone else is washing, then you can keep using it.”

Imran and Lekha were reportedly part of the same social circle and began dating in 2020. Lekha was previously in a relationship with journalist Pablo Mukherjee, who happened to be an old friend of Imran. Imran, on the other hand, was earlier married to Avantika Malik. The two separated in 2019, ending their eight-year marriage. They share a daughter named Imara.

SCOOP: Akshay Kumar refused Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's high-concept comedy due to snake connect

Kartik Aaryan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba are teaming up for the first time on a feature film produced by Karan Johar and Mahaveer Jain. The film is touted to be a one-of-a-kind high-concept comedy with a snake as the antagonist. On doing the research, Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learnt that the Mrighdeep Singh Lamba directorial was initially offered to Akshay Kumar.

A source told Bollywood Hungama on confidentiality, "Akshay Kumar was the first choice for director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's next. He was in the discussion for a while now, however, he eventually backed out. He was not convinced with the conflict of snake vs human, and didn't want to venture into this genre again after Jaani Dushman."

Mahaveer Jain and Karan Johar had multiple rounds of meetings with Akshay, and when he finally backed off, they decided to reset the project with Kartik Aaryan in the lead. "Kartik loved the idea of man vs snake and instantly signed on for the film. He feels this is another winner under his kitty after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and 3, as the supernatural elements are the flavor of the season for the big screen," the source shared.

The snake comedy is all set to go on floors in October 2025 and release in the second half of 2026.

“I learned so much from Salman Khan”: Shreya Gupto speaks on making her Bollywood debut with Sikandar

Rising star Shreya Gupto is poised to captivate audiences with her Bollywood debut in the highly anticipated film Sikandar, where she shares the screen with superstar Salman Khan. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and set for release on March 30, 2025, this action-packed drama marks a pivotal moment in Shreya’s inspiring journey from humble beginnings to the glitz of Mumbai’s film industry. With a story rooted in grit and determination, Shreya’s ascent is one of talent, perseverance, and a dream nurtured since childhood.

From Film Sets to Stardom: Shreya’s Early Years Born in Kolkata and raised in Chennai by a resilient single mother, Shreya Gupto’s tryst with acting began early. Frequently accompanying her mother to film sets, where her mother took on small roles to make ends meet, Shreya found herself drawn to the spotlight. Her first big break came as a child artist in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Varanam Aayiram, playing Suriya’s sister. This role ignited a passion that would define her life.

Throughout her formative years, Shreya honed her craft in films like Chanakya, JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai, and Pallikoodam, where she even lent her voice as a singer. Despite these achievements, the unpredictability of an acting career loomed large—until she took a leap of faith. With just Rs 25,000 in her pocket, Shreya moved to Mumbai, determined to turn her dreams into reality. A Key Role in Sikandar: Bringing Depth to the Screen In Sikandar, Shreya plays a medical student intern, a character integral to the film’s narrative. “My character, along with fellow interns, assists Sikandar—played by Salman sir—on his mission in Dharavi,” she revealed in an exclusive interview. “It’s a journey that unfolds with such grandeur on screen.” The film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, promises a blend of high-octane action and emotional resonance, with Shreya’s role adding a fresh dimension to the story. Her excitement about the project is palpable. “Being part of a Nadiadwala production with Salman sir and Murugadoss sir feels larger than life,” she said. This role not only showcases her acting prowess but also cements her place in Bollywood’s competitive landscape. Working with Salman Khan: A Dream Come True For Shreya, sharing the screen with Salman Khan was nothing short of surreal. “Growing up watching his films, I was starstruck,” she admitted. Yet, Salman’s approachable nature quickly put her at ease. “He’s so collaborative. I even got to translate some Tamil lines for our scenes, which made it an enriching experience.” Shreya also witnessed Salman’s legendary generosity firsthand. During a mall scene shoot, after a grueling month on set, the child actors erupted in excitement. “Salman sir told them to shop for whatever they wanted—bikes, skateboards, you name it,” she recalled. “The energy that day was beautiful. He’s genuinely kind.” His spontaneous improvisations further elevated their scenes, offering Shreya invaluable lessons in adaptability and presence. Under A.R. Murugadoss’ Guidance: A Creative Collaboration Shreya’s collaboration with director A.R. Murugadoss began with Rajinikanth’s Darbar, where she first caught his eye. Reuniting for Sikandar, she credits him for shaping her performance. “Murugadoss sir gave me a role that’s key to Sikandar’s journey,” she said. “He balances creative freedom with precise direction, whether it’s a musical number or an intense sequence.”

Working under Murugadoss’ visionary leadership, alongside Salman Khan, transformed the experience into a masterclass in filmmaking. “It’s been an unforgettable journey of learning and growth,” Shreya added, expressing gratitude for the opportunity. A Packed Portfolio and Future Projects Before Sikandar, Shreya built an impressive resume. Landing four ads in her first month in Mumbai, she went on to star in over 250 YouTube videos with platforms like TVF and FilterCopy, 150 television commercials, a Balaji Telefilms serial, and web shows like Hansal Mehta’s Scoop. Her next venture? A show directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sudhir Mishra, set to release later in 2025. As the sole breadwinner for her family, Shreya’s drive is fueled by both passion and responsibility. “Landing substantial roles has always been a challenge,” she reflected. “Sikandar is a milestone I’m deeply grateful for.”
