Saira Banu hospitalised months after Dilip Kumar’s demise; shifted to ICU

Actor Saira Banu has been hospitalised months after the demise of her husband Dilip Kumar. She was hospitalised at Hinduja hospital in Khar after she complained of issues related to blood pressure three days ago. Reportedly, she has been shifted to the ICU ward today.

According to some reports, Banu also suffered a minor heart attack. However, there is no official statement on the same.

Meanwhile, Dilip Kumar passed away in July this year at the age of 98 due to age-related illness. Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu tied the knot in 1966.

In the past several years, Saira Banu was Dilip's caregiver and was the backbone of the legendary actor. Not only did she take care of him when his health was fragile but also kept his fans on social media updated about him.

Bigg Boss OTT: Akshara Singh admits having a liking for co-contestant Pratik Sehajpal

Bigg Boss OTT has been providing its viewers high entertainment quotient and adorable chemistry of the connections made inside. As the theme for this season is all about connections, we have witnessed some really great connections happening inside the house. One among them whose chemistry is pretty much adored by the audiences is of Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh and Ace of Space fame Pratik Sehajpal. However, during a task in previous week when the housemates were given a chance to dissolve their current connection and make a pair with a new one. Pratik left Akshara and made pair with singer Neha Bhasin. Post which, there was a ruffle of harsh words between the two ladies and they were seen locking horns every time.

In the latest episode both the ladies decided to clear out their misunderstandings and give a new beginning to each other. In the discussion, Neha expressed her unpleasantness towards Akshara's comment upon her that is "Mard le Jaate Ho" (You take away men).

Reacting to which Akshara clarified that she didn't say it and neither meant it. Akshara also told that her exact words were "Mere Aadmi Par Nazar Hai" (You have an eye on my Man). Neha also questioned her why she got offended when she commented upon her that she is behaving like Pratik's wife. And the moment came in when Akshara finally expressed that she likes Pratik and has a soft corner for her. To which Neha said that she had no clue about the same.

As the conversation between the two ladies went ahead, they also discussed Pratik's game plan. Akshara told Neha that Pratik has been using her for the game as Neha is way more popular than him. She also confessed that when Pratik was her connection He also cribbed about Neha being behind him and pretended the same to everyone. To which, Neha also clarifies that she has no feelings for neither Pratik nor her previous connection Millind Gaba.

In the end, Neha discussed her conversation with Akshara to Pratik. She told him about all the allegations Akshara made about him and his game plan. Reacting to this, Pratik simply denied them all.

Directed by Shome Makhija, this action-thriller narrates the story of a blind police officer in search of a serial killer. The film went on floors in December 2020 in Glasgow, Scotland and the shoot was completed in a start-to-end schedule that lasted 39 days. Blind is produced by Sujoy Ghosh, who also present in the Scottish city during its shoot

SEVENTEEN's THE 8 and Jun to promote in China from September to December; group to promote with 11 members in Korea

The multi-national K-pop group SEVENTEEN members THE 8 and JUN are heading to China. The Chinese members of the popular group have been away from their families for a while and amid the pandemic and travel restrictions, they couldn't go back home. Now, from September to December, both the artists will promote in China and spend quality time with their families, respectively.

According to an official statement released by their parent company Pledis Entertainment, it says, "We would like to provide some information on SEVENTEEN’s Korean and overseas activities for the second half of this year. Our company provides full support for both the group and individual activities of SEVENTEEN. We plan the Korean and international activities of our members by exploring a wide range of opportunities for the members to take part in, striving to ensure that the artist can enjoy their full potential as close to our fans as possible. As a part of these efforts, SEVENTEEN members JUN and THE 8 will focus on their activities in China from September to December. They will resume their work in China that had been postponed by COVID-19, and spend time with their families after having been forced to stay apart from them for a considerable amount of time due to the pandemic."

It further reads, "As moving across countries and regions currently demands excessive time and effort due to the severe challenges posed by the current situation on international and regional travel as well as the requirement for self-quarantine, and having discussed the situation with the members of SEVENTEEN, JUN and THE 8 will continue their activities in China for the time being. Please note that during this period SEVENTEEN will engage in their promotions in Korea with 11 members."

"We ask for your generous understanding, and please stay tuned for the diverse activities of SEVENTEEN both in Korea and abroad during the second half of this year," the message concluded.

According to the reports, SEVENTEEN is gearing up for the release of their next album in October 2021. the group recently premiered their version of the show, In the SOOP. Meanwhile, on June 18, the group returned with their 8th mini-album 'Your Choice' along with the music video for the title track 'Ready To Love'.

The actress was admitted to the hospital till August 30 and post which she returned home on the occasion of Janmasthami. As the actress returned home, she receives a warm welcome from her Suyyash Rai and her entire family. Kishwer took to Instagram to share a video in which a family member is seen performing the Griha Pravesh (House Welcome/Warming) ritual.

In the video, the entire house can be seen decorated with silver, blue and white balloons. After she arrives at the house, she admits getting overwhelmed seeing the preparations made by her family members. As she steps ahead and moves towards her bedroom, she's also taken by surprise when she notices a banner on the wall which read, "Welcome home Bunny."

Richa Chadha met female cops as part of role prep for Candy

Richa Chadha will be seen next in Voot Select’s original web series Candy, where she will be donning the avatar of a cop for the first time. The film will also have Ronit Roy in a lead role and is helmed by Ashish R Shukla. Richa is known for portraying ballsy roles on screen and she always makes her presence felt through strong and crucial characters. The series has a mix of suspense and mystery where Richa will be seen investigating sinister murders in a school in a small hilly town.

 

Richa believes that it is essential for any actor to expand their horizons by stepping out of their comfort zone and doing a role that is complicated and is not simply black and white. She finds preparing for a role tougher than acting for it.

“Portraying the role of a cop was not easy”, says Richa, “it demanded a very different mental makeup. I was lucky enough to hang out with some female cops and understand the dual pressures of managing the needs of the family in the Indian social set up, and working as a law enforcer.”

In the latest clip, the trio- Sumona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh and Rochelle Rao are seen gossiping and chatting with each other while Kapil jokes about his weight. Archana seems to walk up to the 'mahila mandali' and asks what's happening and Bharti replies that they are gossiping and calls Archana 'chugli chachi'. Bharti also praised Archana for getting younger day by day. The conversation is then interrupted by Kapil saying Archana is trying to increase her followers to which Archana asked that why is he jealous of it. When asked about Kapil's paunch, he replied saying 'Abhi toh mene kaafi hadh Tak 6 kilo andar kheecha hua hai' referring to the injury he had that made his weight go over upto this and said he'll be back in action soon. The camera then goes back to Bharti who then make jokes again.
