Earlier this week, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was in Hyderabad, landed in Mumbai, leaving her fans surprised. Soon, it was revealed that the actress is in the city to attend the wedding festivities of her brother Siddharth Chopra and actress-model Neelam Upadhyaya, who got engaged in August last year amid all the hoopla. The wedding preps have already kicked off at the Chopra residence about two days – and after their mother Dr. Madhu Chopra shared a sneak-peek into the multiple functions like Mata Ki Chowki, Mehendi, and Haldi, PC too have dropped pictures from their fun Haldi ceremony.

Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram page to share photos with the bride and groom who looked absolutely excited to take the plunge.  The actress was also seen spending time ample time with her family, dancing, having conversations, and just being in her elements with them. PC was seen shaking a leg to some traditional Punjabi beats during the ceremony along with her also grooving to Bollywood tunes and her own tracks like ‘Say Na Say Na’ from Bluffmaster. That’s not all!

Priyanka Chopra also shared glimpses of her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas where the latter was seen bonding and enjoying these functions along with her mother’s side of the family.

Meanwhile, Nick Jonas has not yet arrived for the function. On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is expected to make a comeback to Indian Cinema with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s untitled action adventure, which is being referred to as SSMB29. The film is also expected to feature an ensemble cast of actors from different film industries. The actress also has American projects like Citadel S2, Heads of State and The Bluff in the pipeline for release.

While the excitement was building around the release of Shashank Khaitan's rom-com, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, we have heard from our reliable industry sources that the Karan Johar production is no longer releasing on April 18, 2025 as announced. A very close source to the film confirms that Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is entering the reshoot phase in March.

"Karan and Shashank feel that there is scope for more fun elements in the film, and hence they have planned another schedule to be canned around the destination wedding moments. The entire cast, including Varun and Janhvi will be a part of this schedule. The idea is to enhance the film further to hit the bull's eye. Karan is a master of this genre, and is leaving no stone unturned to serve the audience with two big-scale rom-coms: Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Teri Tu Mera in 2025 and 2025 respectively," the source told Bollywood Hungama further.

Apart from some scenes, the makers will also be shooting for 2 songs. "Around 25 days of shoot remains, which has led to a delay in release. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will hit the big screen in the second half of 2025," the source shared with us.

Actor Sikandar Kher is all set to step into the shoes of playing an army man in the upcoming Sriram Raghavan directorial, Ikkis. For the first time Sikandar is set to be seen in an army based film. Veer Pahariya breaks silence after Pranit More gets assaulted for making jokes on actor; says, “I strongly condemn any form of violence’

Popular stand-up comedian Pranit More, who shares a decent fan following on social media, was assaulted in a shocking incident after his Kolhapur show by a gang of men who waited back to meet him pretending to be his fans. As per a note shared by More’s team on social media, the attackers revealed that they were angry about Pranit’s jokes on debutant actor Veer Pahariya. However, expressing shock over the incident, the Sky Force star condemned the act.

Taking to his Instagram page, Veer Pahariya, grandson of former Maharashtra CM and former Minister of Home Affairs Sushil Kumar Shinde, has spoken out against the unfortunate incident involving comedian Pranit More, in a heartfelt statement where he made it clear that he had no involvement in the attack and strongly condemned any form of violence. “I am truly shocked and saddened by what happened to Comedian Pranit More,” Veer shared in a public statement. “I want to make it absolutely clear—I had no involvement in this, and I strongly condemn any form of violence. As someone who has always taken trolling in stride, laughed along with it, and shown love even to my critics, I would never encourage or support harm towards anyone, let alone someone from the same creative fraternity.”

“To Pranit and his fans—I am deeply sorry that this happened. No one deserves this. I will personally ensure that whoever was responsible is held accountable,” he added. Sources close to the actor have also confirmed that he is actively looking into the situation and will take necessary steps to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

Meanwhile, Pranit More’s team have questioned the freedom and rights of the stand-up comedian and have also asserted about filing a police complaint against the attackers. "We have lodged an online complaint from Mumbai. We sincerely urge the authorities to take immediate action and thoroughly investigate this matter so that such incidents do not happen again", the note read in conclusion.

Rakesh Roshan makes SHOCKING confession about ‘financial constraint’ being the reason behind Krrish 4 delay; says, “We have to focus on the story more”

In an interaction with Galatta Plus, as the veteran actor-filmmaker was asked about the current status of Krrish 4, Rakesh Roshan replied, “I known people have been waiting for a long time now. But somehow, we have been unable to get the budget right. The scale of the movie is quite massive this time. If I try to reduce the scale, the movie just seems like a common film. Moreover, the world has become small now. These days, kids have been exposed to several superhero films. Even if the smallest error will be caught by them and it will get criticized. So we have to be very very careful”.

He further added on how Indians don’t have the kind of extensive budgets that international superhero dramas have. “We cannot make movies of that level. We cannot afford that much costs. Our budget doesn't allow us. If their total budget for such films is Rs. 1000, then we have to make the same movie in just Rs. 4. Due to such financial constraints, we as movie makers have to focus on making better stories. Currently, we are working towards one such story. Although I do assure that there will definitely be high-octane sequences – may be there will only be 2 or 3 instead 10 – but it will surely be a part of the film!

For the unversed, Krrish is a superhero franchise which features Hrithik Roshan in the dual role of scientist Dr. Rohit Mehra and Krishna Mehra aka Krrish. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra as Krrish's wife Priya Mehra, along with a host of other characters.

Shah Rukh Khan began by saying, “It's been a while since we saw such a huge turnout of the press at an event. I'd like to thank Netflix for giving me and Aryan this opportunity. Thank you, Monika, Bella and Ted. I am glad that Aryan's first outing will be on this platform. He and his team - Bilal, Ankit and Manav - have worked very hard for years on this project.”

He continued, “This is like a family show as Netflix is like a family. My son is taking his first big step. My daughter Suhana has got into acting. Agar yeh duniya inko 50% bhi pyaar de de jo mujhe diya hai, toh woh bahut zyada hoga.”

Shah Rukh Khan then clarified on the title of the show, “It's pronounced as 'The Bads Of Bollywood'. There's a reason why Aryan has named it this way which you'll know once you see the show. Monika has told me to repeat the correct pronunciation ten times kyunki asterisk ke saath logon ko shayad samaj na aaye!”

He then got people excited as he remarked, “The producer of this show is Gauri Khan. Main sirf naam ka producer hoon. I have a simple funda. Yeh sab producer, director, actor sab ek taraf. I am just a bloody star!” The journalists agreed and shouted in excitement.

Shah Rukh then added, “The characters of the show are very fascinating and I felt that the story is apt for a series format. Aryan and his team agreed with me. There are many actors and actresses in the film. I haven't asked them to come on board. They signed the show for the love of Aryan. I can't name them just now. He has strictly instructed me, 'Show ke baare mein kuch nahin batana'. He said, 'Hum apna show bhi nahin dikhayenge (at the event). Sab apna show dikhayenge. Hum aapko dikhayenge! I am like ghar ki murgi. Aryan and Gauri are like, 'Isse acting karwa lo'.”

He also said, “I saw some of the episodes and they are quite fun. People get offended by my jokes. Hence, I have stopped joking. Virarsat mein maine apne bete ko joke karna de diya hai aur bola, 'Ab tu ja aur baap ka naam roshan kar'!”

Mamta Kulkarni denies rumours of bribing Rs. 10 crores to become Mahamandaleshwar; says, “I have no money. I had to borrow Rs. 2 lakh to offer as 'dakshina'”

In a surprising post, Mamta Kulkarni, who recently returned to her hometown India after several years, decided to quit the film industry and become Mahamandaleshwar at the Kinnar Akhada which sparked a major controversy among the community groups. In the interaction with host Rajat Sharma, Mamta insisted that she has no money and said, “Mere pass Rs.10 crore kya Rs.1 crore bhi nahi hai. Mere bank accounts seize kar diye hai government ne. Aapko malum nahi hai main kis tarah se reh rahi hun. Mere pass paise nahi hai, kisi se udhar leke Rs.2 lakh, voh bhi jo guru ko dakshina deni hoti hai (What Rs. 10 crore, I don’t even have Rs. 1 crore. My bank accounts have been seized by the government. You have no idea how I have been living. I don’t have any money. I had to borrow Rs. 2 lakh to offer ‘guru dakshina’)”.

Three of my apartments are in a state of disrepair, infested with termites, because they have remained closed for the past 23 years. I cannot even begin to describe the financial crisis I am going through,” she shared keeping deeper insight into her financial woes. She also addressed the remarks made by Ramdev Baba about her offering money and added, “I leave that to Ramdev Baba. What should I say?”

“He is a young Dhirendra Shastri. I have performed penance for 23 years, which is longer than his age. I did not want to become Mahamandaleshwar, but it was the Acharya of the Kinnar Akhara, Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, who compelled me,” Mamta stated as she also opened up about the comments of Bageshwar Dham Baba Dhirendra Shastri.
