It was only recently when the makers and cast of Netflix’s The Archies unveiled the entire music album at a grand carnival event in Mumbai. As much as the fans were awestruck by the performances of its cast members including Dot (Aditi), Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda, it’s the film’s music that has managed to create quite a stir in the music scene with its ‘60s rock and roll vibe.

The song ‘Dhishoom Dhishoom’ from the film has opened to great response to the music, and the song’s choreography has also impressed the audiences. Set against a high school, the song features the female cast skating with co-actor Agastya Nanda. The makers of the Zoya Akhtar directorial have now given a sneak peek of the ‘Dhishoom Dhishoom’ song. In a new BTS video, Suhana Khan, Dot and Khushi Kapoor can be seen preparing for the song during their roller-skating rehearsals. A candid glimpse of the challenges and difficulties faced by the actors finding their balance, the video showcases them playfully falling while on skates, further adding authenticity to their moments.

Impressively, their determination led them to master their moves, which can be seen in the song. Sharing the video on social media, the girls wrote, “Pulled all punches for Dhishoom Dhishoom.” Appreciating their effort, Director Zoya Akhtar commented, "Bravo girlies!!! For getting up each time you fell. Respect."

This live-action musical transports viewers on an enchanting journey back to the captivating era of the 1960s, set in the fictional hill town of Riverdale. The film is produced by Netflix India, Tiger Baby, Archie Comics and Graphic India.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was honoured at the third edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. Over the course of 10 days starting from November 30 to December 9, the festival will celebrate the local and international filmmaking talents. Along with Ranveer, German actress Diane Kruger and veteran Saudi writer and actor Abdullah Al-Sadhan will also be the honorees. On the first day of the event, Ranveer was in attendance at Jeddah for a conversation followed by which he attended the red carpet on the opening night.

At the event, Ranveer opted for an all-black look for the opening ceremony. Presenting the honour to Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor was Sharon Stone who took to the stage and said, “I have had the exciting pleasure of meeting Ranveer Singh before. What a great guy! He is truly an all-rounder creative genius. It gives me genuine great pleasure to welcome him to the stage to receive yet another prestigious award.” In the video, Ranveer seemed overwhelmed by receiving an award from Stone.

Animal: Alia Bhatt shares first review of Ranbir Kapoor starrer; calls it ‘khatarnaak’

Following two weeks of promotions, actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna's film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has been released in the theatres in India and abroad today. The anticipation has been at an all-time high. On Thursday night, the film premiered for the film industry where Ranbir's wife, actress Alia Bhatt was also in attendance. And she has shared the first review of the film.

In a video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Alia Bhatt responded to a question about the film. She called it ‘outstanding’ before she said, “Khatarnaak.”

The premiere was attended by Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor along with Rohit Dhawan who came to support Ranbir Kapoor. Alia was wearing a customised Animal t-shirt for the premiere.

In a recent conversation with Variety, Ranbir said, "My character in Animal shares some traits with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's protagonists. He is indeed tough and uncompromising in certain aspects. But he is also multi-dimensional and complex, with moments of vulnerability and internal conflict that make him more relatable and human."

"I was really drawn to the script of Animal," he explained. "It's a gripping and intense film that delves into the depths of human emotions and relationships. It explores the complexities of life and the choices we make, with a narrative that keeps you on the edge of your seat.”

Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions to clash for the FIRST time ever - Hrithik Roshan's War 2 V/s Kartik Aaryan's untitled next

On November 22, on Kartik Aaryan's birthday, the actor announced that he had signed Karan Johar's upcoming film. The announcement also mentioned that the grand flick will release in cinemas on Independence Day 2025. Exactly a week later, on November 29, news came in that Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR starrer War 2 will also release on Independence Day in 2025.

Interestingly, if this clash takes place, it'll mean that it would be the first time that the films of Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions would release on the same day. Both the reputed producers are quite close, as is common knowledge. Karan started his career in films by assisting on Aditya's debut film, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). Karan Johar, in multiple interviews, has spoken highly of Aditya Chopra and his family. And as expected, they have always ensured that they don't release their films on the same day, presumably to not cut into the business of each other.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror in February 2014, Karan Johar spoke highly of Aditya Chopra, Yash Chopra and superstar Shah Rukh Khan, “They (Aditya, Yash, SRK) conceived, conceptualized and envisioned this company. Tomorrow if I am asked to wipe the floors of Red Chillies (Shah Rukh Khan’s production house) and Yash Raj, I will do so. And I know if I ever need SRK and Adi, they will be there for me.”

As a result, it'll be interesting to see the clash between War 2 and Kartik Aaryan's untitled next on August 15, 2025, if it does take place, as planned.

August 15, 2025 is obviously a high-in-demand date as a national holiday, Independence Day, falls on that day. Janmashtami, meanwhile, will be celebrated on Saturday, August 16. Usually, no big film releases a week after Independence Day. Hence, the August 15 release will also benefit from the Ganesh Chaturthi holiday on Wednesday, August 27, in the second week.

The sixth episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 marked the reunion of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai's leading ladies, Rani Mukerji and Kajol. The film completed 25 years in October 2023, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. This marked their reunion on the Koffee couch after several seasons, almost 16 years.

During the conversation, Kajol revealed she turned down three blockbusters, including Shah Rukh Khan's Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots, and Akshay Kumar's Mohra.

When asked Rani Mukerji the same question, Rani Mukerji said that she did not reject the roles but her dates were blocked by the director due to which she couldn’t do Lagaan. Rani said, "So, I did not turn down this role. It was a particular filmmaker who didn't release my dates, and because of this I could not do Lagaan.”

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda recently made headlines by revealing his upcoming marriage with actress-model Lin Laishram, who hails from Manipur, Northeast India. Now, the actor is married and shared pictures from his traditional Meitei ceremony which was held on November 29, 2023. The wedding festivities took place at Chumthang Shannapung Resort in Imphal.

Upon sharing the photos, Randeep Hooda wrote, "From today, we are One." For the wedding ceremony, Randeep wore a traditional white outfit with a shawl. Lin was dressed in Polloi, a traditional skirt made up of bamboo and thick cloth which was embellished with gems, and shimmer and was made up of velvet material.

As reported by Hindustan Times, Randeep Hooda talked about getting married, "Feels very good. I felt that it was only respectful to come and marry in the bride's tradition. However, I have heard that in Meitei love marriages, the groom has to sit for a very long time. So, that's something but I am looking forward to the ceremony and traditions. I want to experience my life partner's culture. That's why I am here."

Randeep added, "I hope I don't make any mistakes. And we have been talking about their culture, Manipuri culture and all that for a long time. I am looking forward to it and hope that all goes well. I am praying for our happy future and lots of kids and lots of abundance. Yes, it's east meets west. It's like a traditional or cultural exchange. We have been friends for a very long time. We met when we were in the theatres. Since then, we have had a great friendship, which we are now making into a family."

Lin revealed how she met Randeep. She said, "We actually met at Naseeruddin Shah's theatre group called Motley and he was my senior. That's where I met him. We were friends and it's turning into a beautiful journey."

Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is all set to release this week. With only a few days left for the release of the movie on the big screen and it set to clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur in theatres, the anticipation is at an all-time high. The trailer gives a glimpse into the hyper-violent crime saga led by Kapoor. In one of the scenes, Ranbir is seen using a machine gun. Turns out, it is not VFX but was made from scratch.

The makers of Animal recently attended a promotional event in Chennai ahead of the film's release. At the conference, they were asked about the trolling for the machine gun and Computer-generated imagery (CGI). However, Animal production designer Suresh Selvarajan clarified that the machine gun, which weighed 500 kg, was built from scratch over a period of four months. It will reportedly appear during the 18-minute interval block. “I never saw such a thing happen for any Indian film. It was Sandeep's vision,” he reportedly said.

Ranbir also added, “I remember the first time Suresh Anna showed us the war machine, I was shocked. He created it from scratch. It is such an original piece. It was a great idea that Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Suresh Anna had.”

He further said, “We are not shooting with actual guns. We have to pretend, imagine that if we are operating a machine so large, what would that do to our body, and our ears because we have to keep shooting for hours. I really had to imagine that because the bullets were coming under siege, they were not real. That is the magic of movies.”

For unversed, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan paved the way for Hindi films to release in the theatres in Bangladesh. This was followed by SRK’s Jawan and Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo. Now, Ranbir’s Animal has become the fourth Indian movie in history to be released in theatres. It also apparently becomes the second movie after Jawan to be released on the same day as the rest of the world.

Fashion designer Rohit Bal in critical condition and on ventilator support, admitted to Medanta Hospital: Report

Indian fashion designer Rohit Bal is reportedly in critical condition and has been on ventilator support in the Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. As per several reports, the designer has pre-existing cardiac condition and also suffered from alcohol abuse and other health problems.

As per a report in HT City, a close friend of Rohit Bal said, “Bal was rushed to the hospital by model Suraj Dhalia three days ago. His heart was sinking and he was unconscious. His pacemaker gave seven shocks. He was initially taken to Moolchand and when his condition deteriorated, he was rushed to Medanta.”

"Gudda is a fighter but his illness has taken a serious toll on him. He became extremely weak over the last few months. We are praying for him," another close friend said.

Rohit Bal has been in and out of hospital for health issues in the last few months. He suffered a massive heart attack in 2010. The 62-year-old has also been suffering from pancreatitis for several years. As per reports, his old friend Arjun Rampal visited him in the hospital. “Gudda is in very bad shape. He was almost dead in November. The doctors had to flush out alcohol and sleeping pills from his system when his friends took him to the hospital,” a friend had opened up about his condition to HT City.

EXCLUSIVE: Suneel Darshan to commence shooting for Andaaz 2 from November 28; to launch three newcomers

Bollywood industry always had a soft spot for sequels. The blockbuster success of Gadar 2 (2023) encouraged filmmakers to make sequels of films released a couple of decades ago. Some months ago, Bollywood Hungama broke the news that Dharmesh Darshan is in talks to direct Dhadkan 2. And now, we bring to you another breaking news, about his brother Suneel Darshan. He’s all set to begin the shoot to the sequel of his hit film, Andaaz (2003).

Suneel Darshan exclusively told Bollywood Hungama, “20 years after the release of 2003’s hit Andaaz, which launched then newcomers Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra opposite Akshay Kumar, I am about to commence the filming of Andaaz 2. The shoot begins from tomorrow.”

Suneel Darshan further said, “Andaaz 2 will feature 3 new talents in leading roles with original music by Nadeem of Nadeem-Shravan fame and lyrics by Sameer and Nadeem.” The Shree Krishna International presentation is written, produced & directed by Suneel Darshan.

Suneel Darshan, however, refused to divulge the names of the newcomers and assured that he’ll announce the star cast soon.

Andaaz, directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Suneel Darshan, was a love triangle between a man and two women. The film was a rage thanks to the songs, touching moments and sizzling chemistry between the actors. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama in May 2022, Suneel Darshan said, “Several cinemas wanted to shut down over the course of the (2003) strike. We had distributed the film ourselves and I personally called the theatre owners and requested to keep their cinemas going. I assured them that they’ll benefit from Andaaz as I had that faith in the product. And thankfully, the film became a rage in the single screens.”

Ranbir Kapoor says first cut of Animal was 3 hours and 49 minutes; defends the long runtime: “We are not releasing a film this long because we are arrogant about it”

Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is all set to release this week. The trailer was unveiled on Thursday, November 23 in New Delhi. On Friday, the makers launched the music album of the film in the presence of fans. Recently, the film’s certification revealed that the runtime is 3 hours and 21 minutes. At a recent press conference in Bengaluru, Ranbir Kapoor was asked about the long runtime of the film.

Ranbir Kapoor was accompanied by his co-stars Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and producer Bhushan Kumar. The actor said, “Cinema is cinema. We are not releasing a film this long because we are arrogant about it. We felt that this story required this amount of time to reach the audience in the best way possible.”

Adding further, Ranbir said, “We have seen a cut of this film which is 3 hrs 49 mins and that also held. Even that was entertaining. Sandeep has worked really hard to bring the length down because you cannot stretch that much. Hoping that the audience do not panic by the length and just come experience cinema at its best.”

Rashmika Mandanna said, “This film has multiple complex characters. If you take one character out of it can be a movie in itself. So if you have to enter the world of Animal and understand what psyche they are coming you need so much time and that is the instinct we have gone by. The film is so strong, it holds so well, it is not something you have to worry about.”

Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures have backed Animal. The film is releasing on 1st December 2023. Bollywood actor Salman Khan is happy to be scripting another success story with Tiger 3! The Diwali release starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi has already been a hit. Right after the release, fans have been demanding a spin-off for Katrina’s character Zoya and that she should lead a female-centric YRF Spy Universe.

At a press meeting on Friday evening, Salman said that it would be great to have a Zoya spin-off but not with Tiger. “Ya why not? But I think Zoya would be very incomplete without Tiger. So, Tiger will have to be there and save the day in the climax. Even if he is not there throughout the film, but there has to be a Tiger introduction, a telephone call (to him), and a hook in the interval. Then in the climax, when Zoya needs Tiger, he lands up there to make sure that together they accomplish the mission,” he said.

But, he quipped that though he is in for a smaller screen time, she wouldn’t been keen on the same. “Tiger and Zoya have become so synonymous that me without Zoya or Zoya without me will feel empty. But if we tell the same thing to Zoya, that there will be her introduction, then she will come in the interval then a bit in the climax, woh jhel nahi payegi (she won’t be able to take it). Woh apna role badhate jayegi (She will keep increasing her role),” he added.

BREAKING: 2.41 minute long trailer of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki passed by CBFC with U/A certificate

The month of December is expected to be an exciting one for moviegoers. Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna has already created a rage. This will be followed by Dunki, which marks the first collaboration between superstar Shah Rukh Khan and blockbuster director Rajkumar Hirani. Bollywood Hungama has been at the forefront in giving news about the censor process of the assets of Dunki. We now bring to you another exciting update.

The theatrical trailer of Dunki was submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Yesterday, that is, November 25, the trailer was cleared by the Censors with a U/A certificate. The length of the trailer, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 2 minute 41 seconds.

Interestingly, the name of the applicant and producer on the certificate is Sahil Chandramohan Khosla. As per sources, he’s a part of Rajkumar Hirani Films, which has also produced the film. The development is significant as instead of Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, it is Rajkumar Hirani’s production house that completed the censor process.

Earlier, the makers of Dunki got the certification done of as many as 6 teasers. The first teaser was released on November 2 followed by the song ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ on November 22. It now remains to be seen whether the makers of Dunki will unveil the remaining five teasers or will they directly launch the theatrical trailer.

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani. It arrives in cinemas on December 21, 2023.

In a unique gesture of love, the father has now presented a precious gift to his daughter Shweta Bachchan. As per a Moneycontrol report, the said property is located in the prime area of Juhu in Mumbai as  a part of Vithal Nagar Cooperative Housing Society Ltd, on two plots of size 890.47 sq m and 674 sq m. It is said that the bungalow was presented to Shweta Bachchan in the form of a gift deed which was signed on November 8, with a stamp duty of Rs. 50.65 lakhs was paid for the said property. According to these reports, the documents revealed that while Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan are the donors, the donee’s name was revealed to be Shweta Nanda. For the unversed, Prateeksha is one of the bungalows that is very close to Amitabh Bachchan’s heart since it was his first bungalow, and it also had his mother Teji Bachchan and father Harivansh Rai Bachchan staying with him.

Speaking of Shweta Bachchan, she has always stayed away from films and is married to business tycoon Nikhil Nanda. She has two kids, Navya Naveli Nanda who has decided to follow the footsteps of her father and has become an entrepreneur as well as Agastya Nanda, who will be making his Bollywood debut with the Zoya Akhtar film The Archies.

On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan is still very active in the film circuit. He is currently gearing up for the release of the magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD, co-starring Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Disha Patani, among others. Directed by Nag Ashwin, it is slated for release next year.

Jubin Nautiyal to star and sing in the film Tum Aaye Ho Toh with Shreya Chaudhry

Singer Jubin Nautiyal is set to showcase his versatility by featuring in the upcoming short film Tum Aaye Ho Toh, a cinematic musical, which will not only see him as the soulful voice behind the melodies but also as the lead actor. Director Jyoti Kapur Das said that Tum Aaye Ho Toh will follow beats of a love story across timelines, giving it a feel of a timeless romance with memorable music. “Usually film stories are written first and the music tracks follow. Tum Aaye Ho Toh is a story that was inspired by the beautiful music that Rocky and Jubin created! This is an ode to the all the love stories I have loved watching on screen and a salute to the concept of soulmates seeking each other out across time and geographies. I am so grateful to Shivam, Guneet and the producers for letting me tell this story, exactly how I wanted to,” Jyoti said.

Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR to commence War 2 shoot in February 2024; second schedule to begin in December 2023 with stunt doubles: Report

With Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR starring in War 2, the excitement is on another level with two superstars coming together to face off each other in YRF Spy Universe. Hrithik’s cameo in Tiger 3 also added to the excitement, which is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji. While the first schedule was wrapped in Spain in October 2023 with stunt doubles, the second schedule will likely be shot the same way in Abu Dhabi. Hrithik and Jr. NTR will begin their shoots in February 2024.

As per a report in Mid-Day, a source said, “NTR Jr is currently shooting for his 30th film, directed by Koratala Siva, and will then begin his first schedule for War 2. Aditya Chopra and Ayan have planned a massive action entry shot for him in the film. Shooting for the portions involving Hrithik and him will commence in February in Mumbai over a month-long schedule. The dramatic portions will be canned first, and will be followed with action sequences.”

The source added, “Like he did for the Spain leg, he is likely to use stunt doubles for the actors in Abu Dhabi too for the scenes that are to be filmed in the absence of the main cast members. Ayan shot high-octane car chase sequences in Spain over two weeks.”

Back in October 2023, Bollywood Hungama reported that Ayan Mukerji had completed the first schedule with stunt doubles. The source said, “It's a new technique of shooting for feature films. The action blocks of a lot of films in today's time are shot without the involvement of lead actors. Soon after, the faces of the body double are replaced using the body swap technology. The same was used for Pathaan as well for the action blocks shot in Dubai and Russia. Hrithik and NTR Jr. will start shooting for War only in December.”

The Spain schedule lasted for around 12 days, and Ayan was strict to get a perfect stunt double on board the film. “He auditioned over 50 talents each for both Hrithik and NTR Jr. before getting an ideal body type on board. The stunt double had multiple test shoots with Hrithik and NTR Jr. in Mumbai and Hyderabad before flying off to Spain,” the source added.

Koffee With Karan 8: Sidharth Malhotra says marriage to Kiara Advani helped him gain a family in Mumbai; reveals what he misses about single life

The new episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 saw the reunion of Student of the Year stars Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. They have completed 11 years in the industry, married and have come a long way since their debut. Sidharth tied the knot with Kiara Advani earlier this year. Even though they did not make their relationship public until they tied the knot, the small gestures from them both at private parties and events definitely left some hints for Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan to get thinking about it.

Talking about married life, Sidharth Malhotra said, “I came to Bombay (Mumbai) about 16 years ago, and I lived by myself for the initial years with friends. I shared rooms and apartments, and now I have this one person I have dated, and obviously, there is so much love. I feel more responsible now; I feel like I have another person I have to take care of."

Further speaking about Kiara, Sidharth added, “She motivates me to work harder. What binds both of us together is that both of us are very family-oriented. Both of us have that upbringing. Even though she grew up in Mumbai, she is very disconnected. She is not so skewed by whatever is happening in the industry or behind the camera. I like that. I find that very refreshing; she could be in any profession. She handles her stardom in a way, possibly in a similar way that I like it. Even today, we like spending time together and meeting families. I never had a family in Bombay, but now I do thanks to her.”

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra got hitched on February 7 at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace. During the rapid-fire, Karan asked Sidharth what he misses about his single life. He said, “Secretly meeting Kiara.” Karan simply responded with, “awwww!”

All three stars have completed 11 years in the industry, married and have come a long way since their debut. In the episode, Alia made a special appearance through a video where she talked about her special connection with Sidharth, whom she dated in the early years of her career. Turns out, her cat Edward was gifted to her by Sidharth.

Alia Bhatt sent a special message to her SOTY co-stars and said, “We made our debut together on the Koffee With Karan couch. An unforgettable debut because of my unforgettable mistake. The excerpts from the column read, “On Koffee with Karan, Deepika managed to outrage uncles, aunties, and an entire lot of India’s not-so-eligible bachelors by confessing that unlike her reel self, she did not swoon and fall at the feet of the first moustached suitor hanging around her. Instead, she had dated other men while also dating her future husband. The trolling she has received because of her admission is baffling. In fact, it has gone as far as students at Banaras Hindu University reportedly putting on a play where a girl plays Deepika and male students act as her past boyfriends."

“Her approach to finding a suitable partner though is rather logical. Suppose you want to buy a couch, wouldn’t you go to the store to figure out which one feels nice and bouncy, which has a comfortable backrest and which fabric doesn’t make your skin itch? But when it comes to the couch potato whom you have to snuggle against, you are expected to just pick one without testing out alternatives,” she added.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, as confessed by the couple during the show, started seeing each other in 2012 and were expected to have got secretly engaged in 2015. However, the couple tied the knot in a traditional ceremony which was held in Italy in November 2018.

Reflecting on the changing dynamics of Bollywood gatherings, he criticized the trend of exclusive group parties and emphasized his preference for a more inclusive social environment. Govinda stated, “Ramesh Taurani is a good person. Over the years, Bollywood parties have become these group parties, and if you don't belong to a certain group (camp), you aren't invited. If you are not seen at these parties, it is assumed that you aren't social, which is wrong. I am not anti-social at all, and I don't believe in groups.” He underlined the misconception that not attending such events implies being anti-social, emphasizing his belief in a more open and diverse social scene.

First song of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki expected to be out on Rajkumar Hirani’s birthday?

Shah Rukh Khan rocked the show in 2023 with Pathaan and Jawan. Hence, all eyes are on Dunki, his third and final release of the year. The excitement is tremendous due to SRK’s present track record and his first collaboration with the blockbuster filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. The teaser was released on SRK’s birthday on November 2 and ever since, fans have been eagerly waiting for the next asset. And if sources are to be believed, the wait is about to end very soon.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The first song of Dunki will be out this week. If all goes well, the song will drop on Monday, November 20. The date is significant as it’s the birthday of Rajkumar Hirani. It’ll be interesting as the earlier asset was launched on SRK’s birthday. Hence, launching the song on the much-loved filmmaker’s birthday will be apt.”

The source continued, “There might be a delay of a few days but the plan is on to unveil the first song of Dunki this week.”

When asked what the song is called, another source said, “It is apparently called ‘Loot Toot’.”

Bollywood Hungama was one of the first ones to report that two teasers of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki were passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a ‘U’ certificate. On November 3, we reported that the CBFC had passed four more teasers of the film. Three of them were granted a U/A certificate while one was passed with a ‘U’ certificate. It now remains to be seen when these teasers will be out and whether a trailer for Dunki will also be released.

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani. It arrives in cinemas on December 21, 2023. It’ll clash with Prabhas-starrer Salaar, which arrives in cinemas on December 22.

Tiger 3 fan event: Salman Khan gifts Tiger-themed scarf to Katrina Kaif: Katrina remarks “For the first time, he’s giving me a present”; Salman takes a dig at Yuvvraaj

The scarf has become synonymous with the character of Tiger, played by Salman Khan in films from the Tiger franchise. The iconic character’s entry in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan (2023) also saw the scarf playing an important role. The scarf was shown first and the audience went into a frenzy in cinemas as they knew that it was an indication that their favourite superstar would come on screen in no time. Hence, it was interesting to see that the scarf made its presence felt at the promotional event held to celebrate Tiger 3 at a multiplex in Mumbai on Friday, November 17. Salman Khan was present at the event along with Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi and hundreds of excited fans.

At the event, Salman Khan was asked to present the Tiger-themed scarf to Katrina Kaif. Katrina was amazed at this gesture. She immediately remarked, “For the first time, he’s giving me a present.” Salman dramatically asked “Kya?”. It raised a lot of laughs.

Tiger 3, which was released on Diwali Day, on Sunday, November 12, opened at a huge Rs. 44.50 crores. It now remains to be seen how it scores in the second weekend. Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol along with producer Bhushan Kumar took center stage in Dubai and joined the sea of fans who gathered to witness this marvel. The Diwali release Tiger 3 had a superb opening, bringing cheer to the industry. The actors of the film – Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi – came out to promote the film on Friday, November 17. They interacted with fans at a screening of the film held at a multiplex in Mumbai. Salman Khan was in his element as he raised laughs with his statements.

Salman began by saying, “Bahut acchi baat hai ki aap sab ko yeh film acchi lagi. It’s also heartening that you are all here and will watch the film (after this event). I was wondering ‘Itne saare log (hai yahaan). Fir theatres mein kaun hai?’. Who’s paying and going for the film then?”

He then mentioned the ICC Cricket World Cup, “It’s amazing because even the World Cup is going on. India dhada dhad maare jaa raha tha. India has won every game. And this is when we arrived with Tiger 3. Hence, our collections are very good. Inshallah, India will win the finals and then, everyone will be in cinemas (to watch Tiger 3).”

He added, “Cricket is anyway a religion in this country. Is there anyone who doesn’t watch cricket? Except me? (smiles)!”

Apart from the World Cup, Tiger 3 also braved the Diwali holiday. The norm is to release the film a day after Diwali. Tiger 3, however, came on the day of the Festival of Lights and shocked the industry as it collected Rs. 44.50 crores. On this, Salman Khan joked, “It released on the Diwali day and yet collected Rs. 43 crores. Koi ghar pe family ke saath baith ke pooja paath kar raha tha ki nahin kar raha tha?”

The actor attended the event alongside Malaika Arora, and the pictures posted on Instagram led to discussions about Arjun's height in comparison to Beckham.

In the images, Arjun and David were seen twinning in black, but eagle-eyed social media users couldn't help but notice that Arjun appeared taller than the former footballer. The actor took a moment to set the record straight, stating, “I’m actually 183 cms, that’s slightly over 6 feet so let’s not believe everything that we read.”

Bollywood actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, son of Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, has once again proven his knack for shutting down trolls on social media. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Harsh shared a photo featuring him alongside legendary footballer David Beckham, who arrived in India to witness the World Cup semi-final match between India and New Zealand.

In the caption accompanying the picture, Harsh mentioned, “Met david Beckham last night.. spoke to him about United ofcourse and the state of the club .. can’t  reveal more ..”

When asked about the frequent encounters with trolls, Harsh addressed the issue straightforwardly, stating, "Jealousy/insecurity." Explaining why he engages with trolls, he responded, "The only difference is I never instigate it... I do my own thing, but if someone is logging onto Twitter, going on my page to quote tweet me and simultaneously trying to low blow me (contradictory from them, by the way), I'll say what I want to them if I'm in the mood."

Koffee With Karan 8: Alia Bhatt almost broke down when her daughter Raha’s face was nearly visible in paparazzi photos: “I was just exhausted and overwhelmed”

On the latest episode of Koffee With Karan season 8, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt set the couch on fire! During the conversation, Alia talked about becoming a mother to her daughter Raha, who turned one recently. She recalled how she once broke down after she saw her daughter’s face was nearly visible in paparazzi photos. She has not shared any pictures on social media revealing her face.

Alia recalled that at that time she was shooting in Kashmir for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and it was the first time she had stepped out for work after giving birth. She said, “It takes really long for your body to bounce back. I was not sleeping at night, I was feeding, and rushing in between shoots. So, I remember calling Ranbir and saying ‘Listen, I’m finding it very difficult’. So, he pushed his work and said, ‘Do not worry. I’m going to come pick her up. I’m going to take her. I’ve pushed my work. She’ll be with me’.”

When Ranbir heard about Alia’s condition, he came to pick up Raha which relaxed Alia a bit. But there was separation anxiety and other feelings involved which was triggering her. She said, “So, that guilt carried on and one and a half days later when I traveled back, I saw a photo where the side of her face was visible and I just broke down.”

“Honestly, we’re proud of our baby. But it’s just like there were too many emotions put together and I’m so protective of my loved ones that I felt like, ‘Oh God! I don’t want that conversation'. But I realized that I was just exhausted and overwhelmed at that time,” she concluded.

Which happened recently with a video and stuff like that. My team told me yeh kuch out of hand jaa raha hain (this is getting out of hand) and I said OK theek hai, jaane do because genuinely people say things all the time.”

"But then I realized there are serious articles talking about how he's a toxic man and this and that and I'm like, are we serious? There are many issues in the world to give more attention toward than something I said in a completely different context. And I feel bad if people misunderstand it because he's genuinely the opposite of that," said Alia.

“There is a line I feel is being crossed but you can't say anything about it, people can say what they want about you. In fact, Ranbir says this, 'Alia the audience owns you, they can say what the hell they want about you. As long as your movies are doing well, please do not complain sitting in your apartment in Bandra.' I was like, ya that's right, kuch mat bolo (don't say anything)," Alia Bhatt added.

With Aditya Chopra’s Tiger 3, they have reprised their iconic characters, super-agents Tiger and Zoya from the YRF Spy Universe. The film has collected over Rs. 140 crores at the box office till now. As the film is performing well in theatres, Salman attended a special screening of the film, which was hosted for kids on Children’s Day 2023.
