Saba Pataudi pens emotional tribute to Saif Ali Khan post attack; reveals she ‘misses being there’

Saba Pataudi, who is quite active on social media, reacted to the news of her brother Saif Ali Khan being attacked and admitted to Lilavati Hospital. While the family collectively released a statement along with Khan’s team, followed by Kareena Kapoor Khan also issuing a note regarding the attack, Saba penned an emotional message for Saif, who is currently recouping in the hospital in Mumbai.

The shocking news of the attack left the Khan family in shambles, with many industry insiders showcasing their support in different ways. Meanwhile, the Khan family has restricted their reaction owing to the circumstances. However, Saba Pataudi decided to showcase her emotions regarding this tragedy and took to her Instagram story to share a fond memory she shared with Saif Ali Khan during their childhood days. Along with that, she also penned a note appreciating her brother for showcasing courage to safeguard his family and said, “I am in shock and reeling from this insane incident. But proud of you bhaijaan. Taking care of the family and standing tall would make abba so proud. I am. Get Well Soon. Missing Being There. Will See You Soon <3 Duas and prayers Always.”

What happened to Saif Ali Khan?

On January 16, during the wee hours of dawn, the actor’s home, where he lives with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their kids Taimur and Jeh, was attacked by an alleged intruder. While reports suggest it as an attempted robbery, Khan was stabbed six times with a knife in an ensuing scuffle with the attacker. Followed by the same, he was immediately admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Some reports claim that the actor fought with the intruder with an aim to protect his family from the attacker which resulted in him sustaining multiple injuries.
